Community Tree Nursary

With thanks to one of the Directors of the CIC, we now have access to a beautiful two-acre site in the stunning Gower to develop our Community Tree Nursery. This space is currently being constructed to house a polytunnel big enough to grow and manage 10,000+ saplings every year, alongside hosting a variety of workshops to be involved in!

As we are completely off-grid, we have implemented technologies to capture and store water, alongside generating our power from solar panels to power the water pump.

None of this would be possible without our sponsors from the:

The next phase of development will be setting up the irrigation system, making paths for easy access, building a storage shed and lots more digging to house our saplings once they’re ready to leave the polytunnel!
